Teacher’s Day is a special occasion that is celebrated in our country to honour and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of teachers in shaping the future generation.
Teachers’ Day was celebrated on September 5 in our school with pomp and grandeur. The whole program was organised by the student council members. The event was held at Rayyan hall. The program started with prayer and followed by various activities such as dance, music, quiz which was presented by the students to express their gratitude towards their teachers. These activities not entertained the teachers but they also helped the students understand their skills to organize a program and lead the same with clarity. The principal presided over the function. Then the Principal along with the student council gave certificates of appreciation to all the teachers to acknowledge the sincere contribution and hard work. The students observed the day with much zeal and enthusiasm. They also arranged some fun games for the teachers to entertain them. All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program.
As a part of Teacher’s Day, our teachers took a day off from their daily routine and show cased their talents in various cultural events like dance, music, drama etc. The most fun filling part was that our enthusiastic teachers actively participated in amusing games initiated by sports department which was full of entertainment and enjoyment. Finally, gift hampers with sweets were distributed by the management and the event came to an end creating memories for the teachers who always do a commendable service to society and the nation by educating the youth.
